Chiesa San Vincenzo Martire
We will be getting married at the Church of Saint Vincent the Martyr in Orroli, a special place where Paolo was baptized, made his first confession, received his first communion, and was confirmed.
This exquisite church dates back to 1582 and was later expanded and renovated in 1900.
After the ceremony, please stay for a group photo session on the church steps.
Orroli is 75 km from the nearest airport (Cagliari Elmas).
The recommended route from the airport is to take the SS 131 towards Sassari, exit at Senorbì, and pass through Suelli, Sisini, and Siurgus Donigala.
We suggest renting a car at the airport for all transportation. There are no public transport links between Orroli and neighboring towns, except by car.
Roads in the towns are narrow, so please consider this when renting a car.
There are several B&Bs in Orroli. We advise booking as soon as possible if you wish to spend the night in town.
Most accommodations can be found on Airbnb and Booking.com
IMPORTANT
When booking accommodations, pay attention to the actual distance as Booking shows the distance as the crow flies. A 12 km distance could mean a 40-minute drive, so it's strongly advised to map out distances before booking or to contact Paolo for guidance.
The reception will be in Barumini, which is 22 km from Orroli (about a 40-minute drive).
You can also book accommodations in Barumini through Booking or Airbnb.
It's August so it will be hot! Though the reception venue is air conditioned, the church is not. Prepare wisely!
We are so grateful for your support as we embark on this beautiful journey together.
If you wish to contribute to our future, we warmly welcome your generosity through various methods.

In order to get to Orroli, a car is needed, since we have people coming from all over the world and flights will arrive at different times.
Once in Orroli, everyone will have a car and it would be pointless for us to plan a bus.
No.
It is not traditional in Sardinia to have a rehearsal dinner and we decided not to have one.
Car is the best way. There is public transportation in the major cities, but the smaller towns like Orroli and Barumini require a car to get to.
NOTE: In order to drive in Orroli, you MUST have an international license. Please see this link for a guide in how to obtain one: https://www.aaa.com/vacation/idpf.html
